The Challenge
The founder was personally spending 4+ hours per deal researching and validating potential investors. The work required too much judgment to hand off to an employee, so it never left his plate. Every deal slowed down while he worked through it manually, and the quality of the output still depended entirely on how much time he had that week.
What We Built
We mapped exactly how the founder was evaluating investors, what criteria mattered, what disqualified someone, and what the output needed to look like for the team to act on it. We turned that logic into an agent that runs the research, scores each investor against the deal criteria, flags edge cases for human review, and outputs a clean ranked list the team can use without a review cycle.
The founder stopped touching investor research entirely.
